DOOMED TO A CAREER OF MID CARS? The F1 Career of Nick Heidfeld (2000-2011)

I actually forgot Heidfeld drove for Prost, after driving for McLaren and their junior team. I also forgot he was at Sauber with Raikkonen only for Kimi to go to McLaren instead of McLaren's own driver, even if he probably wasn't a junior at the time. Either way- Heidfeld had a lot of promise, but that move for Raikkonen from McLaren rather than Heidfeld almost doomed him to a career of mid cars, and when he got to a decent car, the next batch of good drivers like Vettel, Kubica and Hamilton were on the way through.
