Canon Pixma TS705a: How to do Print Head Alignment

Whilst we have used a Canon Pixma TS705a in this video, the process remains the same for all other Canon Pixma TS700 Series inkjet printers. This is essential knowledge for resolving issues of regular lines, shadows, gaps or even "fuzzy" looking prints and is certainly worth doing when troubleshooting print quality issues. These handy alignment functions can be performed directly from your Canon Pixma TS705a, using its screen and control panel, removing a computer/laptop from the process entirely. Matt also mentions an odd support code 2500, "Automatic Print Head Alignment Failed" error message he ran across while filming. If you are getting this error with the correct paper in the tray and no blocked nozzles, you may want to lower the lights in the room where you print from your Canon Pixma TS705a!
