This movie was one of my favorites when I was in high school. It was so relatable and relevant to modern life, yet so fantastical at the same time. The story was amazing and sweet, the characters are fun; I could go on for hours. But my favorite part was the friendship between Judy and Nick. I totally relate to Judy's optimism and determination, and Nick's backstory broke my heart, and gave me a clearer picture of him and his character. I cried when they had their fight, and then cried again while laughing when they made up. I always believed that they are good friends. It took me a few more watches of the movie (along with reading some fanfics) over the years to get me on shipping them romantically, but I sure do now. Especially with all the “subtle” signs from the second movie. Can't wait for the third movie and how much more their relationship will grow and progress. Just please don't take another nine years to produce it. Maybe five at the most. The song I used for this video is actually a fanmade song by this guy called Junto Armstrong. He does a lot of fanmade songs, and he even has them on Spotify. And I have to say, they are actually really good. This song was written specifically with Judy and Nick in mind, and the lyrics fit their relationship in the first movie really well. I don't own this song, or any of the clips or original audio used.
