Siphon Coffee Maker - Queen Sense CM0601: Taste the Difference! #coffee

In this video I show you how I brew a siphon/syphon brew coffee! Enjoy yourself a cup of this delicious coffee as well! https://a.co/d/0ij2eOT9 ** Note that this siphon brewer, (or vacuum pot) is electric. To me, that was a selling point. ** Also, some people - maybe most - not sure - wait for the hot water to "kick up" to the top chamber first, and then they proceed from there to add the coffee. All I am gonna say is one time when I tried that method - and I was monitoring temperature if I remember correctly - the hot water and the ground beans had a bit of a reaction and moved up further, partly out of the chamber. I think that's the incident I was talking about when I mentioned a protection feature in this video. Stuff got wet and it shut down and would not turn back on until it recovered from what I'd venture to say was a fault condition. Resettable fuse, PolySwitch or PPTC? (Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient). I don't know for certain if that was it or not, but it would seem to be likely that it did have some protective circuit or compent(s) in there to protect it, as the manual gives some indication towards. (More for "dry boil"). I didn't get much into the science behind why this apparatus works, but suffice it to say there's a few videos out on that. Maybe someday I'll do my own, a more "complete" version, breaking down the science of what is going on here. LOL. Pressure, a vacuumed condition and barometric conditions, and gravity, all make this method of coffee brewing possible. Okay, I had AI help me out a little to pull out more details as to what is going on for those of you who are interested. The following are just bullet points or fragments. LOL. Heat creating vapor pressure to push water up A vacuum forming as the mixture cools Gravity pulling the brewed coffee down Barometric conditions playing a role in the process Hope you enjoyed the video. I was more just into the overall experience and taste of the coffee. I never really agreed that this whole method of brewing has to look like a science experiment, although I suppose it can if you fit it to that scenario. I think I was kind of aware as to what was going on throughout this video, but I guess I never felt that filling that scientific explanatory role was something I felt very compelled to do. : )
