Droitwich - ''The World's Most Modern Long Wave Transmitter'' 1934. In February 1932, radio signal strength tests took place at Wychbold and Whittington, Worcestershire. Wychbold was eventually chosen. This film is about the construction of the station in 1933. The official opening was on Sunday 7 October 1934.
