Spring Container Gardening! Planting Fruit Trees and Sweet Potatoes.
Welcome back to the garden! It's a beautiful, hot day, and we have some container planting to do. 🪴 In today's video, I'm potting up a few new additions to the garden. First, we are planting a small orange tree I found at the grocery store into a large container, and I'll walk you through the nutrient-rich soil mix I use for my citrus plants. Next, we are transplanting my new 'Latarulla' Italian Honey Fig tree that I ordered from Burpee. Finally, we're planting some sweet potato slips that I successfully rooted in a mason jar, which we'll be planting into a fabric grow bag. Grab a drink, come hang out in the garden with me, and let's get planting! ☀️ Thanks so much for watching!
