mTor, Resistance Exercise and Aging
I have heard numerous people express concern about including resistance exercise because of its effect on increasing mTor and possibly accelerate aging. Here I explain how this concern is a gross oversimplification of a very complex metabolic signaling pathway. By discussing the details of mTor activation, I hope to show that resistance exercise stimulates mTor in a way that promotes longevity.
