Instead of stripping it all down again I thought I’d use it for another video and do a single speed conversion. It’s not the most practical conversion but it makes a clean looking bike that’s easy to cruise around town on. All you need is: Single Speed Conversion Kit for a Cassette Chain Tensioner (The new chain and crankset were optional) Since making the video I’ve discovered the tensioner I used is designed for 8/9 speed chains... it wasn’t in the listing so I had to do a bit of searching to find that and it’s definitely the reason for why there is a ticking sound!
