Webinar # 43 "Intermediate Irises" by Gary White

Wednesday March 18, 2026 This program will describe Intermediate Bearded (IB) Irises, a brief history, what makes them special in the iris world, and what an iris judge should know in evaluating these vigorous median irises in the garden. This program is given as 1 hour JT credit. About the Presenter Gary White is an AIS Emeritus Judge and grows all classes of irises that are amenable to life in the American Great Plains. Gary has been involved in numerous iris organizations from local affiliates in Lincoln and Omaha Nebraska to Region 21 to sections (HIPS, SJI, SSI) to the AIS Foundation and to AIS as a past president. Currently Gary is president of the Lincoln Iris Society, the Society for Siberian Irises, the AIS Foundation, and RVP of Region 21.
