I'm the person who answered the question about the relationship between muzzle velocity and distance. I immediately replaced the barrel and gasket of a Marui SAWCOM fixed-gas handgun I had on hand with better ones, and added an item that allows for finer hop adjustment. It then flew farther than the Plus Series, which has a muzzle velocity of 94. I think the hop adjustment that Deme-san mentioned has something to do with it, but I was surprised that the distance it flew was so great regardless of barrel length. I think it's all a coincidence that the balance between the two has come about. So I'd like to hear about any customizations that Deme-san and Urakata-san have experienced that have produced unexpected results.
