President Ruto meets Nairobi rivers regeneration steering committee

The steering committee on the regeneration of the Nairobi Rivers Basin has reported significant progress in restoring the Nairobi River. In the first meeting chaired by President William Ruto since the September launch of the Nairobi River Regeneration Initiative (NRRI), the committee announced that large amounts of garbage have already been cleared from 75 km of the 94 km stretch encompassing the Nairobi, Ngong, and Mathare Rivers.
