How to Prune a Fruiting Sabara Jaboticaba - in 15 Gallon Container
The newest addition to the Plinia family, a mature fruiting Jabuticaba. In this video I do an initial prune to remove dead limbs and to promote better fruit set and to train the new growth of the tree. Age of the tree is estimated to be 20 years old or more according to the previous owner. This normally would result in a much larger tree, but the climate where this tree was growing is much drier than what the tree would prefer and the container size also limits growth.
