The Fate of the 2026 Seattle Mariners Could Be Decided Within a Week

As the Mariners gear up for the second half of the baseball season, believe it or not, they have to hit the ground running. In these first two series against the Giants and the Reds, Seattle needs to dominate—ideally going 5-1 or 6-0—before heading on the road to face the Texas Rangers and the LA Dodgers. If the Mariners can put together a strong stretch by the end of July, it could motivate front-office management to buy. If not, they may end up selling or standing pat. It would be devastating to watch the Mariners miss the playoffs—especially this early—considering how close they were to the World Series last season. Also, my friend Kris (aka UDUB Dawg House) had some excellent insights on what the Mariners should be doing to start the second half of the season.
