Tuesday Tech Tip - Storinator Re-Design: Direct Wired Backplanes

Each Tuesday, we will be releasing a tech tip video that will give users information on various topics relating to our Storinator storage servers. Last week, we announced a new re-design of our Storinator storage server. Brett walked you through the new features of the design that aim to improve user feel, serviceability, and thermal performance. This week, Brett focuses in on one of the major improvements of the Storinator which is the direct-wired backplanes. These backplanes give us the ability for hot swapping and staggered spin-up. Stay tuned for more videos and blogs going in-depth about each feature of the re-design.
