Recitative and aria for alto. The most remarkable aspects in my opinion are the daring harmonies in the recitative and the self-reference to "O Mensch, bewein dein Sünde groß" in the aria. Among all the recitative-aria pairs in the Passion, this one is the most difficult for me, which is why I recorded it last. (I had already recorded 65. "Mache dich, mein Herze, rein.")
