Kardoesie Campsite, Citrusdal, Western Cape | Campsite Review

Outside of Citrusdal is the Kardoesie Padstal where one can buy something to eat or enjoy breakfast or lunch. A couple of hundred meters up the mountain is the Kardoesie campsite. The campsite has an exquisite view of the Swartland and is very well kept and managed. All the campsites are on green grass and well demarcated. Each campsite has access to a braaidrum and electricity outlet. The ablutions are neat, clean and offers a bath, showers and a family unit. You will have space to do laundry and dishes. The sparkling blue pool will keep everybody busy and cool in the hot summer days. Your kids can play all day long on the jungle gym. Or just sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Kardoesie is great campsite and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The shop/restaurant at the entrance to the camp is well stocked and besides having a meal there, you can buy firewood, ice, bread, meat fresh produce and treats. This is a must visit campsite.
