THE BATMAN is a MASTERPIECE

Matt Reeves's newest film, The Batman, is an uncontested masterpiece. With the help of director of photography Greg Fraser, an incredible cast with the likes of Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, and Jeffrey Wright, along with an amazing production team, Reeves draws from an all-star list of classic films such as Se7en, Zodiac, The French Connection, Chinatown, Taxi Driver, and so many more, and combines the various elements from these films with the legendary character of Batman, along with his unique world, atmosphere, and characters, to create one of the greatest film noir, murder-mystery, detective thrillers in all of cinema. This film is absolutely incredible. It's taken me many months and over 100 hours to create this video essay, but finally, here it is. This is my ultimate, fully comprehensive analysis of my personal favorite film of all time: The Batman.
