What are enterprise integation patterns? What value do they povide? In this video, I describe why we need enterprise integration patterns and what they are. I describe several patterns conceptually, and show one example. I describe several scenarios where the concepts of filter, transformation, and routing can be applied. I compare and contast Apache Camel transformation, and Kafka topics. I review several terms that are commonly used in Enteprise Integration, and what they mean.
