Our 2,200 Mile Trip in a 1964 Bus Lasted 60 Miles
Horton, our 1964 GM PD-4106 bus, finally rolled out of Yakima on Tuesday — and made it about 60 miles before we turned around. Clutch, steering, and a stuck brake on the first 60 miles of a 2,200 mile trip home to Chicago. We're regrouping. Clutch rebuild scheduled, steering parts on order, brakes still under investigation. Departure pushed at least three weeks. #TheMooseBus #vintagebus #pd4106 #buslife #skoolie #detroitdiesel #8v71 #roadtrip
