Golden Bird Pendant ZBrush Speed Sculpt (Jewelry)

This video shows the process of sculpting a little golden bird pendant or charm. There is no sound, but I'll be adding another version of this shortly with a narrative about what techniques were used. I started out with a Sphere 3D, clicked the "Make PolyMesh 3D" button, then started flattening the sphere using the Gizmo 3D and stretching with the Snakehook brush (shortcut BSH) with a fairly large size. Once I flesh out the basic shape, I used the Divide command a couple of times to smooth the object, the "Del Lower" to get rid of the lower subdivisions. Then I used the Dynamesh up in about the 500 resolution range to achieve a high ActivePoint count of around 900,000. This gives sufficient resolution to be able to sculpt detail. If the resolution you choose doesn't bump the ActivePoint count up that high, just use the UNDO command to go back, and select another resolution and Dynamesh again. I added the sculpted detail with the Clay Buildup brush (Shortcut BCB), and the feather detail with Dam Standard (BDS) and a larger alpha. Look for one that's a smaller dot, but with a larger white dot in the center. This particular piece is not actual size. I'll do an actual tutorial on this later.
