Arnd Schmitt, German epee fencer. Olympic champion 1988, three times 1987, 1991, 2000 World Cup winner. Only this data is simply amazing! The fencing he showed was bold and active, excellent weapon handling and a sense of distance. In 2016, Schmitt was inducted into the German Sports Hall of Fame.
