On this trip, I hauled ice cream from Elko to Jackpot with double trailers hitched to the Volvo VNL 860. The double trailers made the journey more interesting, especially through bends and tighter exits, where smooth steering and early braking mattered the most. Even with the added length behind, the VNL 860 kept things stable, pulling both trailers with confident power, steady speed, and that comfortable highway cruiser feel the truck is known for. The short route from Elko to Jackpot is peaceful but scenic, a kind of drive that lets you enjoy the road without rushing it, while still keeping the delivery sharp and clean.
