Accessible Travel with Cerebral Palsy | Bangkok to UK

My name is Andy Wright. I was born with cerebral palsy — and in 2013, major lumbar spine surgery left me unable to walk. That could have been the end of the adventure. Instead, it was the beginning of a 10-year journey as a travel vlogger. This short video introduces who I am, what I cover, and why accessible travel matters. From family life in Thailand to mobility scooter train trips across the UK, my aim is to show the real experience of travel as a disabled person — the good, the bad, and everything in between. 🌍 On this channel (Andy Wright Thailand Travel), you'll find: • Accessible travel in Thailand — hotels, transport, day trips, theme parks • Life as a wheelchair/scooter user abroad • Restaurant, bar, and venue access reviews • Family life in Thailand with an honest, unscripted lens 🇬🇧 For UK travel content — train journeys, mobility scooter adventures, and accessibility audits — visit my dedicated UK Travel channel:    / @andywrightuktravel   🌐 Daily articles, video guides, and accessibility information for less-able travellers: https://www.andywrighttravel.co.uk 📺 Also streaming on Odyssey and Rumble for those on alternative platforms. ⏱️ Timestamps: 0:00 — Welcome & who Andy is 0:06 — Born with cerebral palsy 0:12 — 2013 spinal surgery & its impact 0:27 — Life beyond disability: marriage, martial arts, career 1:03 — Pre-surgery travels: Russia & Ukraine 1:16 — How Thailand changed everything 1:22 — 10 years as a travel vlogger begins 1:29 — Focus: accessible travel & family life in Thailand 1:38 — Mobility worsens — life on a mobility scooter 2:05 — Mission: highlighting good & bad in disabled travel 2:15 — UK videos on the dedicated UK Travel channel 2:30 — The Andy Wright Travel website 2:47 — How to support the channel 3:04 — Thank you & exploring the back catalogue Support my Thailand and UK travel content: Patreon: https://shr.pn/F2rI Website: https://www.andywrighttravel.co.uk Facebook: https://shr.pn/9qzf © 2026 Andy Wright — All Rights Reserved
