This VLOG is a record of my walk through Tsunashima, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama—a town gaining even more excitement with the opening of the new "Shin-Tsunashima Station." ● Local Gourmet: Fluffy Buns at "Coppe Tajima" I started at the popular "Coppe Tajima" near the station. Their freshly made, fluffy "Ham & Special Handmade Egg (320 JPY)" was packed with filling and tasted like pure happiness. ● History and Nature: Tsunashima Park & Burial Mounds Leaving the redeveloped station area, I headed up to the hilltop Tsunashima Park. Known as the site of the "Tsunashima Kofun" (Ancient Burial Mound), this quiet sanctuary is also a famous cherry blossom spot and home to the "Tsunashima Inari Shrine" which watches over the area. ● A Healing Finale by the Tsurumi River After enjoying the breeze at Otsuna Bridge over the Tsurumi River, I visited the popular natural hot spring "Tsunashima Gensen Yumekuri no Sho" and savored a perfect bowl of ramen at "Gokurakucho." This route rediscovers the charm of Tsunashima, where urban convenience coexists with the peaceful flow of the river.
