Black Mamba: The 1984 Jeep CJ7 Restomod
What makes this CJ7 unique is the modifications that were made using AMC components from the 1980s. It has a built AMC 401 with Magnum COMP Cam with Hydraulic flat tappet lifters and Wiseco pistons. The engine was taken from a Jeep pickup, since the 401 wasn't available in the 84. The engine is mated to a T-177 4-speed transmission, a Dana 300 transfer case, and the one-year-only Dana 44 Wide Track one-piece axle specific to the 1986 CJ. She sits on 35 inch tires, has a custom interior and a sound system. If you'd like to see more detail around the build, visit chickencreekcustoms.com.
