Dutch farming from above Pt. 2 | Summer | Grass, grain, flax, bulbs & roots

Are you already fed up of these dreary winter months and a lot of rain? Well, there's good news for you. In part 2 we look back at the summer of 2019 in The Netherlands. Summer starts with grass silage and the mowers and foragers are out in action. A very special machine, the Ploeger CM4240 self propelled belt rake can also be seen in action. Crop protection and undersowing grass in maize are also jobs that need to take place. As the weather heatens up the first crops are ready for harvest. In the Dutch polders these are most notably tulip bulbs and onions. It isn't long before the combine harvesters are out in the fields. From the proven classics right up to brand new machines.
