Chinatown is a vibrant and colorful district in Singapore, with a mix of old and new. The narrow streets are lined with Chinese shophouses, many of which have been restored to their former glory. There are also a number of temples, mosques, and Chinese clan associations in Chinatown. Chinatown is a great place to simply wander around and explore the sights and sounds of the neighborhood.
