Leather pattern making for shoulder holster straps, and tips to make patterns for armor and garments

Making your own patterns can be a daunting task, but it opens up the possibility to make truly unique and custom leather work. This is a useful trick I learned form someone who made costume armor. Here I am using it to explain how to make shoulder holster straps. I have used variations of this technique to make patterns for vests, armor, bracers, and even a pair boot gaiters. I am always working on building something and try to average a YouTube video once a week. Most often leather work, but I have also posted videos on black smithing, knife making, casting, and even how I make soap.
