Astha Lamda Lite is a 2.5% EC formulation of Lambda-cyhalothrin. It is a non-systemic, photostable third-generation pyrethroid insecticide with contact and stomach action and repellent properties giving rapid knockdown and long residual activity. Mode of Action: Astha Lamda Lite is a non-systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action and repellent properties. It gives rapid knockdown and long residual activity. Astha Lamda Lite acts by direct contact with insects or after ingestion. It is used in agriculture for the control of insects, pests on a wide variety of crops, vegetables & orchards. It controls a wide spectrum of chewing pests belonging to Lepidoptera and Coleoptera in crops such as cereals, ornamentals, potatoes, vegetables, cotton, and other crops. Benefits:  Highest levels of long-term insect control.  It is used for control of #bollworms #jassids, and #thrips on #cotton and #leaf folder, #stem borer, #green leafhopper, #gall midge, #hispa, and #thrips on #rice.  A preferred choice for two major crops (Cotton & Paddy).  It is non-systemic with contact and #stomach insecticide, with little fumigant action and repellent properties.  Greater consistency in a wider range of weather conditions.  Very effective for control insect-borne plant viruses.  Also used for control of insect pests in public health. Method of Application: Astha Lamda Lite can be applied as a foliar spray when the insect population reaches ETL. Use good quality sprayer & hollow cone nozzles and ensure thorough coverage of the crop. Dosages: 1.5-2 ml per Litre water. Precautions: Stop spraying under turbulent, unstable, and dry conditions during the heat of the day. Spraying under temperature inversion conditions (spraying in or above the inversion layer) and/or high humidity conditions (relative humidity 80% and above) may lead to reduced efficacy due to suspension and evaporation of small droplets in the air (inadequate coverage). Damage to other sensitive crops and/or non-target areas through drifting of the suspended spray cloud away from the target field.
