DOPPIA FERRATA AI CORNI DI CANZO | Corno Rat e Venticinquennale al Corno Occidentale

A double vertical adventure on the Corni di Canzo! In this video, I'm climbing the Corni di Canzo with an awesome link-up of via ferratas and aided paths in the heart of the Larian Triangle, just steps from Lake Como: the Corno Rat via ferrata and the Venticinquennale on Corno Occidentale. A complete and super rewarding hike that combines two equipped routes with very different styles: Corno Rat Via Ferrata: A fun route with nice vertical sections and views opening up over Brianza. It's characterized by lots of metal rungs, which all in all make it relatively straightforward. However, it's also very 'climbable', so you can climb large parts of it directly on the rock. Venticinquennale Via Ferrata (Corno Occidentale): After reaching Corno Orientale via the "30° OSA" aided path, I climb Corno Occidentale on the Venticinquennale. This one is wilder, with some more physical sections and overhanging traverses. Once at the top of Corno Occidentale, sensational views open up over the Grigne mountains and Lake Como. An EEA-rated loop (for Expert Equipped Hikers) that makes for an intense day in the mountains, tackling two of the most famous and popular via ferratas in the Lombard Prealps.
