Building a Wooden Boat in My Garage

This video shows my two year journey of building a 19' Albion boat in my garage. The boat is a flat-bottomed sea skiff/dory designed by Jeff Spira from Spira International. This boat is a "plywood on frame" construction, fastened together using industrial adhesive, screws, and epoxy resin. The hull was constructed using marine grade plywood reinforced with fiberglass cloth and epoxy, which makes for a very sturdy hull. Most of the materials were purchased from Lowes, except for the epoxy and fiberglass, which were ordered from US Composites. It was an absolute pleasure to build and still brings about a feeling of accomplishment and pride!
