A quick guide to a better understanding of your reed or heddle.

I think that I am safe in saying that we all know which size of reed we are using, and why. But do you really know everything there is to know about this reed? I work on Ashford Knitters Looms and Ashford Rigid heddle looms, and must admit that this video is specific to this brand of loom and may not apply to Schacht or Kromski, or any of the other brands, but keep watching, because there might still be information here that is pertinent to your particular loom. The little formula stamped into the top of the loom, and even the full-stop after the Ashford logo are all there for a reason, and in this video I interpret the information for you.
