Today, we're diving into the dark, pixelated world of Gal Guardians: Demon Purge on the Nintendo Switch. When their school is suddenly swallowed by a massive, gothic demon castle, it's up to the Kamizono sisters to clean up the mess. This game is a massive homage to classic 2D action-platformers—giving off some heavy Castlevania vibes—but with an awesome tag-team twist. We'll be swapping on the fly between the long-range machine-gun fire of Shinobu and the close-quarters melee combat of Maya to tear our way through the demonic hordes.
