So, I headed on a 30 minute drive and found this one almost immediately. The grass was getting tall, there were weed trees growing around the porch, but what I didn’t realize is that the original brick sidewalk was hiding under a few inches of dirt. I got my shovel out to tap around and sure enough it was there. This got me super excited so I got to work getting everything edged up and then I started digging it out. There was way more dirt on top than I thought and it was SUPER heavy. The next door neighbor got home while I was working and told me that he had no idea there was a brick sidewalk there. He also told me that the lady that owns the house moved away quite a while ago after her husband passed and she’s left the house to rot.
