In this episode we upgrade the door latch, show you how to lubricate the mechanism and what to look out for when setting up and packing down to alleviate common door alignment and operation issues. We also fit a new solid 3D printed door tongue (I call it a snib for some reason!) to our door latch provided by Royce from 3DPRINTRV which is a great improvement to the standard hollow Jayco product which often snaps. The 3 common issues are often incorrect setup which leads to poor door alignment. Difficult latch operation including lubrication and failure of the the tongue. And lastly failure of the door hinges.
