A mobile phone shop in Pathio District, Chumphon Province, nearly fell victim to fraud after two teenagers presented five 1,000-baht banknotes for a money transfer. The shop owner discovered that four of the bills were counterfeit. Upon being informed of the counterfeits, the two quickly fled on a motorcycle.
