700R4 Transmission Valve Body - Transmission Repair - Transgo Kit Install

This is a video of a THM-700-R4 Transmission. It is very common that after you get done with one of this units, it will not want to upshift into 4th gear. My repair kit of choice for this unit is a Transgo kit as you see here. There are different types and brands of valve body kits on the market and they all work very well. If you notice, this is not a high performance kit, it is designed to take care of some of the factory flaws and normal ware that you may encounter on the bores and springs. Transmission repair is a vey fast paced line of work and the use of this kits is very helpful at times since it takes the guess work out of the ones that decide to give you some trouble. Saving you time and getting it out the door quickly to work on the next one.
