Icom 7300: Dynamic Microphones & Preamps

The Icom 7300 has a great microphone right out of the box, but if you want to have both hands free you might be looking for a broadcast-style microphone that you mount on a boom. I’m using a Heil PR781 microphone and a ART Studio V3 Tube Preamplifier. This combination gives me amazing results and I get complements all the time on my audio. If you’re looking for a pre-amp, I highly recommend the ART Studio V3 Tube Pre-Amp. #HamRadio #Icom7300 #Preamplifier Buy the ART Studio V3 Pre-Amp: https://amzn.to/3m2QLAQ Buy the Heil PR781 Microphone: https://amzn.to/3xQ706H Buy the Heil FS-3 Foot Switch: https://amzn.to/3yPGHPj ==== Recommended Audio Settings from Heil as a starting point ==== = Dynamic Microphone with NO PRE-AMP = Mic gain set between 65 to 85.
