'ยศชนัน-จุลพันธ์-วัชระพล' ลุยอุดรฯ ชูหลักสูตร 'เชฟอาหารไทย' หวังยกระดับทักษะแรงงานสู่มาตรฐานสากล

Three Pheu Thai ministers, Professor Yotsanan Wongsawat, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation; Minister of Labour, Julaphan Amornvivat; and Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Wacharaphol Khaokham, visited Udon Thani province on April 25, 2026, to follow up on policies aimed at job creation, income generation, and workforce skills development, focusing on strengthening the grassroots economy. They also launched a customized fertilizer project for Thai farmers. In the afternoon, Professor Yotsanan, Minister Julaphan, and their delegation visited Udon Thani Rajabhat University to inspect workforce skills training. They emphasized that developing modern workers shouldn't just involve curriculum learning, but also equipping them with skills truly in demand in the market. For example, the Thai chef training program must focus on international standards of taste and hygiene. To propel Thai workers into high-income markets both domestically and internationally, or to develop them into business owners, the Minister of Labour emphasized the need to incorporate innovation and technology into training curricula. This ensures Thai workers are not only capable of performing tasks, but also highly skilled and proficient, keeping pace with global changes. In addition to skills development, the morning session saw Mr. Chulapun and the Cabinet members visit Udon Thani to monitor agricultural development, a key sector for the people. Key issues included water management, accelerating the development of a comprehensive irrigation system to support the production season through integrated data sharing from all sectors, and the launch of the ‘Tailor-Made Fertilizer for Thai Farmers’ project. This innovative fertilizer application method targets soil conditions to reduce costs and increase agricultural yields. This visit represents integrated collaboration among the Pheu Thai Party Cabinet team, with the ultimate goal of alleviating poverty and improving the livelihoods of the people in all aspects, including vocational skills and agricultural production costs, to drive strong economic growth in Udon Thani and the Northeast region.
