Visit to IPC’s facilities (April 2026)

This video captures highlights from the PLANETS General Assembly held in Oyonnax (France) in April 2026, where project partners visited IPC’s facilities. It showcases the full plastic recycling process at semi-industrial scale—from sorting and grinding plastic waste into flakes, to flotation, washing, drying, and advanced analysis of recycled materials. The tour also features innovative technologies such as supercritical CO₂ decontamination, lab-on-a-chip systems for migration testing, and IPC’s in-house 3D printing capabilities. The video concludes with the development of a thermoplastic elastomer baby spoon, demonstrating practical applications of recycled plastics within the PLANETS project.
