From a military tech expo straight to combat positions. The latest Tempest V2X air defense vehicle was unveiled only in October 2025 — it was developed with the experience of the russia–Ukraine war in mind. This fast and highly mobile system is primarily designed to destroy Shahed drones. IRIS-T is a German surface-to-air missile system that protects the skies from russian missiles and can eliminate dozens of targets within minutes. Its main competitor is the Norwegian NASAMS system. The key advantage of NASAMS is that its components can be dispersed across a fairly large area.
