Bad Day at Black Rock (1955) was one of the earliest Hollywood motion pictures to feature Asian martial arts. The movie had three Oscar winners at the time ( Dean Jagger with one, Spencer Tracy with two, and Walter Brennan with three ) Two other actors ( Ernest Borgnine and Lee Marvin ) would go on to win Oscars later. Ernest Borgnine actually won one for Marty that same year.
