Navigating Spar Bouy System By Compass
A lot of the private lessons I provide include navigating around spar buoys with a compass. In a spar buoy system, we're blessed with what appears to be a bunch of painted sticks in the water in hard-to-see colors to determine safe passage. (I would really like to understand the logic in that but it is what it is). So I threw this video together while out on the water to help bring some clarity to the north or east and south or west and such. If you have any tips to add, please comment and share.
