When I'm working or having a little break or bed time during the week, I found myself kept getting distracted by online media content and non-stop scrolling. Entering 30s life with that habbit, I found it not healthy phsicially and mentally. So, I have been trying to find a way to be unaddicted to be on phone and doomscrolling. I started learn to live slowly by doing an anolog things such as traditional paintings, making craft that I used to do back in early 2000s. I felt very nostalgic. I felt good dopamine by doing something I can achieve quickly and my brain can feel rewards from the creative hobbies. I also started learning how to crochet. I found it a bit challenging because I have never done it before. Once I started understanding the method, I felt a lot comfortable. I made bear coasters, flowers, heart and now I'm trying to crochet a tote bag! I feel like I finally found myself in a flow state. I'm very enjoying my new hobbies and weekend projects.
