What place does China occupy today in Poland's security strategy, economy, and international policy? Is Beijing primarily a threat, an opportunity, or perhaps a challenge we still haven't properly defined? This debate, organized by the Freedom Institute, explores whether Poland currently has a coherent policy towards China, how Chinese power impacts European security, transatlantic relations, and Russia's war against Ukraine, and why the China issue is becoming one of the most important topics for the entire West. The conversation also raises questions about globalization, technology transfer, economic dependence, and whether Europe and Poland are ready for a world in which China has become one of the main architects of a new balance of power.
