Today is Part 2 of the tour of the orchid greenhouse by member Parangsae. This video was filmed directly in front of Parangsae's enclosed orchid stand. He demonstrates the spray application method mentioned in Part 1 to fatten the leaves of Geummodan (Golden Modan), and reveals the enclosed orchid stand where he meticulously tends to about 50 outstanding Geummodan varieties. He performs all repotting himself and begins the process every year starting in late February. He introduces various orchid pots alongside his excellent large Geummodan plants, and personally shows examples of shoots with new shoots ready for division. Through observing individuals exhibiting diverse characteristics and scenes where one can enjoy complex forms, it was a time to truly understand why so many people call Parangsae the ultimate master of Geummodan cultivation. In addition, he explained in detail the pruning methods and the timing of pruning based on the growth of double leaves, conveying the message that the time and effort invested in obtaining good seeds ultimately lead to excellent specimens. It was a time to personally verify the results of the "Four Commandments of Cultivation" and the importance of "good seeds," which he continued to emphasize in Part 1, through actual specimens. He also shared his valuable experience, noting that the habit of checking the moisture status of two pots on each of the left, center, and right orchid stands during every visit to the orchid room became the foundation of a good cultivation environment.
