Today on my channel, I'm taking a look at Bud Spencer & Terence Hill – Slaps and Beans – and as a huge fan of these two cult heroes, I simply had to try this game! After just a few minutes, it becomes clear how much attention to detail went into this beat-'em-up. References to the legendary films, familiar locations, and of course, plenty of brawls where Bud and Terence don't hold back are everywhere. As a fan, you constantly recognize new references – and that's exactly what makes it so much fun. Unfortunately, my journey ends sooner than planned. During the famous sausage and beer eating contest, familiar to many from the movies, a rhythm minigame awaits me. Unfortunately, making those precise button presses at the right moment is definitely not one of my strengths, which is why I just can't get any further at this point. Nevertheless, my impression remains clear: Slaps and Beans is a great game and a wonderful homage to Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. That's precisely why I didn't want to spoil the fun I'd had up to that point with frustration. I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek!
