Is it advisable to do a road trip on a moped? What is the top speed of the TVS XL100? How comfortable is the XL over long distances? For this year’s edition of TVS’ ride across Sri Lanka, we were given something a little…. unconventional. A 100cc moped isn’t exactly ideal for a 3 day trip across a nation, but that’s exactly what we did this time. The XL100 was our steed for this arduous 700km journey. What started out as a slow, boring and tedious ride turned into an epic road trip (with its fair share of challenges and difficulties) that completely transformed our opinion of the little moped.
