A Beautifully Bonkers Start to Christmas | Lantern Drama at Our Abandoned English Country Home

Frohe Weihnachten, Joyeux Noël, and a very Merry Christmas to one and all! 🎄✨ December has well and truly descended upon Duncombe House and, as ever, we’ve never been busier. In this week’s idiosyncratic instalment of Duncombe House Diaries, we once again NEED your help as we attempt — in vain, it seems — to choose the perfect lantern to illuminate our newly restored façade. We also unveil our brand spanking new Cast Iron Bath Company solid brass showers, I embark on a pilgrimage with my sister to the Aladdin’s cave of ironmongery that is Broughton’s of Leicester, and Jazzy ventures to Londinium for an Ette Colour course in her ongoing quest to select the perfect paint palette for our home. Quincy and Dean continue being gloriously Quincy and Dean, and we frantically tackle myriad preparation tasks in Lord Duncombe's old office in a desperate bid to stay ahead of our lime-plastering phenom, Hurricane Louis. All in all, just another beautifully bonkers week here in the depths of the English countryside, restoring our abandoned English country home. 💚 __________________________ 🕯️ HELP US CHOOSE OUR LANTERN https://bit.ly/4pJhMXF 🏡 Come and stay with us https://bit.ly/3HliBW7 _________________________ Especial thanks this week, and as always, to: • The Cast Iron Bath Company – https://www.castironbath.co.uk/ • Space That Inspires – https://www.spacethatinspires.co.uk/s... • Womersleys – https://www.womersleys.co.uk/ • Ette – https://ettecolour.com/ • Broughton’s – https://www.broughtons.com/store/ _________________________ If you’ve read this far, we adore you.
