We start by observing our tank, where we plan to separate the large algae eater. Then I head to the garage to find the aquarium and the necessary supplies. While I clean the aquarium, the girls enjoy breakfast. After thoroughly preparing the aquarium, I attach the background and head to the pet store for gravel and fish. After returning home, we add the purchased fish – the algae eater and the platy. Then we start maintaining the smaller aquarium, rinsing the ceramic gravel and adding water. I install the filter and heater, and then we figure out how to calculate the aquarium's liter capacity. We move the large algae eater to another tank to provide it with the right conditions. Finally, I repair and plant the plants in our first aquarium, and then we feed the algae eater with special food tablets. It was an action-packed day with our little underwater inhabitants!
